When Life gives you lemons: making Lemonade

In this class, you will learn to fix the 10 most common photo flaws that plague scrapbookers and photographers! Solutions to these photo flaws include design techniques and Photoshop tricks. We will tackle multiple photo flaws within one photo and show you through examples how to create stunning scrapbook pages. Students should bring 2-3 "sour lemon" photos. Each student receives a copy of "When Life Gives you Lemons".
Lemonade with a Twist
Saturday, January 23nd 11-1pm, $30
In this class, you'll learn more about the 10 most comon photo flaws that plague scrapbookers and photographers - each participant brings their most sour photo and we'll discuss the unexpected photo flaws that occur. Step by Step tricks for dealing with your photo flaws in Photoshop Elements will be shared. You'll be able to go home and fix multiple sour photo issues. Design and journaling solutions will be explored. A unique twist is offered when we take the same photo and show 2 ways to scrapbook the imperfections. One using photoshop techniques and another layout showing the photo left as is and using design ideas. While this class builds on the techniques taught in "When life gives you Lemons", Part one is not required to take this class. Students should bring 2-3 sour photos. Each Student receives a copy of "When Life Gives you Lemons".
The Scrapbook Embellishment Handbook 101
Saturday, January 23rd 2-5pm $40
In this class, we explore 8 different embellishments in a tag mini book which will serve as an excellent reference book for inspiration. The ideas range from simple 2-3 step techniques up to 4-5 step techniques. The student will walk away with enough ideas to jumpstart their creativity and enable them to use up their stash of embellishments. We will also share a simple unembellished layout and show you how to take that layout from ordinary to extrodinary. 3 hours. Students need a pencil, black pen, scissors, paper trimmer, adhesive, and exacto knife.
