Gypsy Trunk
Are you a Gypsy Girl? Have you always wanted to play with all their fun products and learn how to use them? In this class we'll make a Chipboard Mini Album in the shape of a house and add all kinds of 7Gypsies items from the Gypsy Trunk line and more! Come release your "Inner Gypsy" in this fun class! Bring your basic tool kit.

Introduction to Scrapbooking
Come join Lelani as she goes over the basics of scrapbooking. You will complete a 12x12 layout during class with personal attention from the teacher. Please bring 4-5 photos from one event in varies sizes.

Further exploring the use of Gesso as texture we will create a small canvas with Gesso and collage. We will stamp into, stencil with and draw free hand in gesso. Will you choose to color your Gesso or leave it white? Please bring scissors and a variety of Paintbrushes.

Twilight Altered Book
Come join Daniela in Alterering this book which is amazing! It will be a class with book club feel thrown in. If you have always been curious about this huge hit of a book and movie, we'll discuss it all. You'll also be learning all the great techniques of altering a book. We'll be altering the actual Twilight book highlighting the famous and incredible lines in it. Bring your basic tool kit including craft knife. All other supplies (including the book!) are included.

Sunday, August 30th - Ingrid 1 - 4 $45
Mini Paper Theatre
Come join Ingrid where she will teach you to create a one-of-a-kind mini paper theater, approximately six inches tall, using rubber stamps, decorative papers, colored pens, findings and much more. Each student will be able to create his or her own version using the materials provided by Ingrid. All you need to bring are your own detail scissors and your imagination!

WOW! CHA product has already started to roll in the door, and the show isn't even until next week! Fabric Scrapbooking “Gotta Love the Everyday”

Fabric Scrapbooking is an exploration in melding the best of the paper world with the best of the fabric world to create one of the most outstandingly visual and completely tactile memory album experiences. Filled with dozens of techniques and applications for using my new Fabric scrapbooking line just released with Prima, in this workshop, you will create this album using the entire line of products at your fingertips. And best of all, NO SEWING NECESSARY! but be sure and bring an apron because we are going to have some messy and creative FUN!

Donna Downey is a bestselling author, instructor and all-around creative force in the crafting industry. In 2000, she got into scrapbooking as an extension of her paper product and photography addiction. This was only the beginning. Where have you been? Where do you want to go?
Whether our travels take us to an exotic locale or just down the road, we need someplace to keep all the treasures we collect along the way. In this handmade 11x9" album we’ll find a home for the photos and memorabilia you already have or be ready for the next trip! This album would also be a perfect gift for someone starting out on a new venture.

As a Ranger Certified Instructor, Debby will teach us how to transform a plain gray piece of Grungepaper into a faux leather album cover. With her usual creative mix of product and unique pockets and paper folds, we'll create an album full of fun and imaginative elements. We'll use the fabulous new tool, the 7gypsies Binderie punch to assemble pages, pockets, bags, tags, and different size page protectors in the album.
We’ll be using a combination of the very latest products from October Afternoon, 7gypsies, American Crafts, Advantus, Bazzill Basics, May Arts, and Ranger Industries.

Supplies for students to bring to class:
12” paper trimmer, ruler, pencil, scissors, Ranger Ink Blending tool, Non-stick Craft Mat, Distress Ink Stamp Pad: Vintage Photo, tape runner adhesive, Crop a dile, stapler or Tiny Attacher, foam squares, sand paper or edge distressor, apron or old shirt to cover clothes while painting. These Are the Days ATC Holder Class

Back by popular demand but remodeled with all new products, we’ll tranform a 7gypsies ATC card holder into a fanciful home for your treasured memories of yesterday, TODAY, and tomorrow. Sometimes we think that “those” were the good old days, but TODAY is the day to make good memories! This little holder will display your everyday memories on little layouts and pockets in a nostalgic style, but with a fresh burst of color and whimsy.

We’ll learn new techniques for playing with paper and embellishments, painting and distressing and creating something lovely. If you’ve already taken the first version of this class, these cards are designed to be added to your project or display on a new holder.

Your kit will contain several sheets of K&Company Cut n Paste 12x12” papers, a full package of 264 pieces of ephemera and October Afternoon Wild Cards, ribbons, tiny trinkets, crepe paper, a package of 50 blank ATC cards, transparencies, and more. You’ll be getting enough product to make many more projects at your leisure.

Debby Schuh can’t remember a time when she hasn’t been a scrapbooker…she still has her scrapbook from when she was two years old! After teaching school for several years and then working as a staff designer for Anna Griffin, Inc., Debby now has a busy schedule teaching at scrapbook stores and events both in the US and abroad as well as doing freelance design work. Her classes at CKU (Creating Keepsakes University) for the last seven years have inspired hundreds of students across the country. She’s looking forward to teaching at Creative Escape this year and on the Ultimate Scrapbook Cruise next year. She has had many projects and articles published in books and magazines and is the author of the book Kids Scrapbooking…Easy as 1,2,3. Bringing this wealth of teaching and design experience to her scrapbook classes, Debby specializes in designing projects full of interactive elements and design details. She teaches innovative techniques step by step so that her students leave class with a beautiful finished project. Debby is blessed to be able to do what she loves…travel the world and meet wonderful people, do a little shopping along the way, and share her passion for scrapbooking.
