A Wall of Paper

The Olympics inspired us to get our own wall. The Great Wall of Paper. Come in and see all of the things you can do with the new Core'dinations paper. You can tear it, sand it, emboss it, crinkle it, ink on it and it looks different every time. You see, Core'dinations is a colored core paper, so those of you who have enjoyed working with White Core paper over the years are going to love this stuff. Imagine sanding off the black surface of the paper to find purple underneath. With Halloween just around the corner, this paper will bring new inspiration to your projects.

CHA Sneak Peeks

It's that time of year again. The summer Craft and Hobby Association Show is next week in Chicago and some of our favorite vendors are beginning to preview their products. Tinkering Ink is previewing their new line, Metro Retro (above) and some great stamps for the winter holidays. Meanwhile, Cosmo Cricket has new camping, Halloween, and toddler papers.

We'll keep watching the vendor sites and bring you more previews as we find them. Check back often next week to see if we find a way to blog from the show!

3rd of July Sparkle!

So here it is 5:00pm on Thursday the 3rd of July and I'm at my desk at work. In every other job I've had I would have been long gone for the 4th of July weekend. Tee hee, oh well, so go the differences between being a small business owner and working in High Tech. Instead of database connectivity I get to tell you about bling! REAL BLING, in fact, RIDICULOUSLY real bling. We have Swarovski Crystals by Creative Imaginations. While over the top, they sit in their own little locked glass case at the register (15 cents each), they REALLY sparkle. Being the magpie that I am, I couldn't resist them.

New Inks: Momento and Clear Stamp

Tsukiniko released new rich color dye inks. They are super high detail and vibrant when stamped. We've finally finished stamping a sample of every ink color we carry...so you can see exactly which color you want.
We've got the new autumn leaves "Stampology" clear stamp inks in stock. The idea is that the formula won't bead on clear stamps - and it really does work, almost every color stamps beautifully. The blues, greens and pinks are fabulously clear and bright, and don't puddle at all. The gold and silver had a weird thick film that flaked off - I didn't care for those at all.
