Gypsy Trunk - Are you a Gypsy Girl? Have you always wanted to play with all their fun products and learn how to use them? In this class we'll make a Chipboard Mini Album in the shape of a house and add all kinds of 7Gypsies items from the Gypsy Trunk line and more! Come release your "Inner Gypsy" in this fun class! Bring your basic tool kit.

In this first of my series of classes exploring the use of texture in collage in more depth, you will create with Gesso. In particular the class will explore the opaque properties of Gesso for a misty, shabby look that makes collage Magic. Also introduced in the class is a second texture medium call White Opaque Flakes. Please bring scissors and a variety of paintbrushes. You may also bring a favorite image that will be big enough for a 6X6 canvas. Please make sure that you only bring a toner copy not an inkjet image. Unless you have an Epson permanent ink printer your inkjet image will smear. I will have more than enough images for everyone in the event you don’t have your own.

Have you been hearing about these amazing markers and are dying to see what everyone is raving about? Well, this is the class for you! Nikki will be going over the basics of Copic color theory and numerology and best of all, you will get to play with the markers! You’ll go home with four completed cards – all colored using the Copic markers. Please bring your paper trimmer, detail scissors, adhesive, glue dots and pop dots.

Wonderful Dreams Acrylic – Saturday, June 27th 1:00-3:30 $42
Join Daniela in creating this beautiful Acrylic Book. You'll learn all the tricks of using acrylic and how to use acrylic to make your pictures POP! Featuring a Maya Road Acrylic Book and the fantastic Cut & Paste line from K&Co. You'll love all the vintage ephemera and papers. Bring your basic tool kit, including wet/dry adhesive, glue dots, pop dots and craft knife and mat.

In this art journal class vintage meets funky. We'll be using photo mats from an album dated 1904 for the covers of our journals. Inside we'll be cutting down 140 lb hot press watercolor paper for our journaling pages. We'll go over the basics of journaling including painting, collage and pen work. Please bring any personal items that you'd like to work in as well as your favorite quotes. In addition to your basic tool kit please bring a variety of pens from your personal stash. Pens, pencils, paint, etc. will be provided but I highly recommend that you bring or purchase approximately 6 Copic markers in colors you like from the store for you to use in class and at home.

Texture for Collage Artists with Connie - Sunday, June 28th 11:00-4:00 $50
In this techniques driven class we will explore ways to add texture to your art work using paint, paper, Gesso, Gel Medium, special texture mediums and Diamond Glaze. Each student will walk out with a tag book of Texture samples to use for future reference. We will be splattering paint so please bring paint brushes and an apron or smock to cover your clothes.
